We purchased and installed a Dropcam to monitor our tank! The livestream of our tank can be accessed by our team members through an app on our phones, and allows us to qualitatively analyze our coral without actually being near the tank! The Dropcam also enables us to record video and eventually we can make a time-lapse video showing the growth of our coral and any other things that happen in the tank!
Although our Acropora have shown serious signs of bleaching and are not fairing well overall in these tank conditions, our Montipora are doing really well and have shown signs of major growth!
We are continuing to use our ImageJ method for a quantitative analysis of growth of our coral.
